Geoffrey Mitchell
Managing Director Geoffrey Mitchell has been involved in the Building Surveying Industry for over 35 years initially employed as a Building Inspector with the Albert Shire Council. After 12 Years in Local Government he set up Geoff Mitchell & Associates in anticipation of the introduction of Private Certification. Geoff has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally on Building Surveying. He has also lectured throughout Queensland on subjects such as Termite Management and Energy Efficiency.
He is actively involved in the development of Building Legislation on both a National and State level by his membership of various committees.
He holds the following qualifications:
- Certificate for Building Construction Technician (1980)
- Bachelor of Building Surveying
- Graduate Certificate in Building Fire Safety
- Masters Degree in Urban Planning
- Accredited at the level of Building Surveyor
- Registered House And General Builder QBSA License No 20976
- Registered Supervisor Building Design Drafting (Limited) QBSA License No 20976
- Justice of the Peace Queensland (1983)
